SMACNA is a national association which represents over 5,000 air conditioning and sheet metal contractors throughout the U.S. and the world. George "Butch" Welsch served as National President of SMACNA in 1988-89.

Air Conditioning Contractors of America is a National Organization with a strong local chapter. We have helped assist ACCA on the local level to encourage legislation that is beneficial to all heating and air conditioning contractors as well as the public in general.

We have been very involved with the Better Business Bureau and their efforts to encourage ethical business practices. George Welsch has served as a past Chairman of the St. Louis Better Business Bureau.
